PAINCASTER - HE/HIM UNNAMED - IT/ITS 808 - THEY/IT
- Has had many fellow rock trolls as help him out as bandmates, but Paincaster has always been the brains of the operation. Or so he claims.
⠀ - These bandmates never last too long as he isn't the most pleasant to be around.
⠀ - This struggle with keeping members led to the creation of Unnamed, and later 808 in the early days of the band. This lineup was the first real, lasting iteration of GEARS.
- Speaking of brains, he is totally the smartest troll ever. (Source: Paincaster said so himself)
⠀ - Looks down upon other rock trolls for their "unruliness" and considers himself far more dignified. Generally, he thinks he's above everybody else.
⠀ - Also considers himself a force of great evil-- but he's truly not much of a genuine threat.
- GEARS' music is pretty well-received among rock trolls, even if the lyrics can be a little odd for that crowd, they like how it sounds!
⠀ - Just don't try to talk to him after a show. You will immediately lose all respect you may have had for him. Jerk.
- Voice claim is Dr. Milo T. Pinkerton III from The Consortium of Genius. Paincaster is heavily based on Pinkerton.
Paincaster, in the very early days of GEARS, out of frustration from not being able to keep bandmates for very long, he may or may not have done a little bit of graverobbing. And reanimation. And thus came this thing. It doesn't have a name.
- It was made pretty early on, when Paincaster was just getting GEARS off the ground. Guitarist for GEARS, comprised of reanimated parts of several rock trolls. Paincaster doesn't bring it out as often these days for safety reasons, but it's still kept in GEARS' lab as an option.. It, Paincaster, and 808 make up the first lasting iteration of GEARS.
- Feral, but not in an "so crazy X3!" way, in a "will maul the nearest troll if not properly sedated" way. To keep it from violent outbursts, Paincaster has to regularly use the brain-beater on it.
- Body is perpetually slimy/wet like a bloated carcass. Slight fuzzy texture from body hair and mold. Smells terrible.
- Voice claim is Kabuto The Python, but it doesn't talk much.
Paincaster, after the somewhat successful, definitely dangerous creation of Unnamed, decided the undead was not to be messed with. He soon came to the conclusion robots would be a safer and more reliable option for creating an artificial bandmate.
- Bassist for GEARS. It, Paincaster, and Unnamed make up the first proper iteration of GEARS.
- They're a pretty friendly individual, though not the brightest. Tends to just go with whatever it's told or whatever everyone else is doing. Paincaster designed them to be agreeable and compliant. Why make a fussy robot?
- Voice claim: Mr. Butlertron from Clone High. That's their voice when speaking normally; It can also mimic voices and sounds, but it always has a "robotic" sound to it.
