  GERTRUDE - PERSONALITY: VAIN (SNARKY) Gertrude closes her eyes with nose up high when you praise her last bunny pouncing session. It was obviously amazing. Arch's mate for life. She was his lovely lioness wife. They met during the May Championships in 2019, and Gertrude was initially a groupie of Arch. She had a bit of sass to her, but that never bothered Arch. A great huntress, but her confidence made her a little reckless, which lead her to acquire many scars over her lifetime. She passed at 15 years, 9 months old early in the morning huddled next to Arch.  
HAWK - PERSONALITY: GENTLE (KIND) You were pacing back and forth, frustrated at losing to a puny hyena earlier. Suddenly Hawk comes up to you, and softly tells you that no one is thinking badly of you for it. She soothingly kneads your mane. The "caretaker" of the whole pride. She was one of the very first pridemates, seeing a lot of lionesses come and go in the pride's infancy. She didn't do much hunting or watching over cubs, but she was always there to comfort you. She passed the evening of May 10th, 2021; just a few months before Arch's retirement.  
ROSIE - PERSONALITY: NURTURING (GOOD) Rosie approaches you and starts licking your muzzle, cheek and ear. You obviously should look your best today. "So, I pick up this chick one day, right? And, like, she's a DOUBLE ROSETTE!!! A chased double rosette! CRAZY. Anyway, she's the nurturing type, which is good, cause I have a lot of cubs. And if nobody looks after them... They, like, die... Bozos. Also, uh, I would breed 'er cause her markings are rare, but then she couldn't look after any cubs for me for a while. Also she claims she "doesn't like men", so.. Whatever. Missin' out on all THIS, eh?" Well, that's Victory's input. Rosie went unnamed for a long time, til Victory came up with the very clever name of "Rosie". Like, rosettes... He's such a great king. So thoughtful. |
